10 years old and still running HOT!

It’s official!!
On 15th January 2007, PRD software and HelpMaster Pro have conquered a decade of developing the most powerful and flexible template driven software on the market.
Since the first sale of HelpMaster Pro in 1997, HelpMaster Pro has continued to offer a high return on investment and is helping thousands of organization in over 44 countries to better manage their business practices and workflow procedures.
From the original Access Database version of HelpMaster Pro in 1997, HelpMaster Pro has grown into the full product suite it is today. With 9 Major product releases over the past 10 Years, and on the verge of releasing the most powerful and well constructed version to date, version 8 of HelpMaster Pro ensures that HMP is only revving up.
PRD Software has won a number of accolades over the past ten years, receiving National and International recognition and awards, but none greater than surviving a decade in such a rapidly changing and competitive Industry.
PRD would like to thank all those who have supported us over the past ten years, and look forward to delivering a high quality product for many more years to come.
ACT Chief Ministers Export Awards 2006

We are pleased to announce that on Friday, 15th September, PRD Software was announced as the winner of the ACT Chief Ministers Export Award for Small/Micro Businesses. The award ceremony was held at the Hyatt Hotel in Canberra, the Australian National Capital. Winning this prestigious award will mean entry into the 2006 National Export Awards to be announced at the Sofitel Hotel, Melbourne, on the 30th November 2006.
In accepting the award the Managing Director, Rod Weir, acknowledged the contribution that all of the dedicated staff
had made toward this achievement. 2006, our 10th year, is shaping up as a significant one in the growth of PRD Software.

PACRIM Helpdesk Conference 2006

Next week (22nd to 26th May) we will be at the PACRIM conference for the 8th consecutive year. This year marks a milestone for PRD having now been on the web with HelpMaster Pro for 10 years. If you are looking for an excuse to get out of the office, why not come and say hello. The event is at Hyatt Regency, Coolum on the Queensland Sunshine Coast. We look forward to seeing some of you there.
Government Technology World 2006
5 - 7 April 2006, National Convention Centre, Canberra, Australia
Once again, PRD Software showcased HelpMaster Pro at the Government Technology World Conference right here in
our home town, Canberra. This event is a showcase of technology and IT related services and solutions.
We had many visitors to our booth who really enjoyed discussing how a solution like HelpMaster
Pro could be used for both a helpdesk/support area, as well as other non-IT related business processes.

New Major Release - HelpMaster Pro v7.5 Now Available

PRD Software is pleased to announce the release of the latest major update to HelpMaster Pro. Version v7.5
includes many new features that have been requested by existing users. The Web Interface has been updated to
include staff and client functionality in the one web application and the new Email Manager will provide total
email response management to your helpdesk. The Priority Manager has also been improved for great SLA control.

New Maintenance Version 7.0.64 Now Available

A new maintenance version of HelpMaster Pro 7.0.64 is now available for download. This build includes
several minor bugfixes. For a complete list of issues that have been addressed, refer to the version
history section of the support centre.
HelpMaster Pro v6 Now Unsupported

With the release of HelpMaster Pro v7.5, effective immediately, PRD Software has now ceased all future
development and support for v6. A final build of v6 has been compiled and is now available from the
download centre. All clients who are currently using v6 are encouraged to upgrade to the latest
version to take advantage of the greater functionality, stability and performance that v7.5 offers.

Government Technology World Expo in Canberra

PRD Software was well represented at the Government Technology World Expo in Canberra on 27-28 April. With lots of Government representatives present, Rod was able to demonstrate the power of the latest HelpMaster Pro software. Bonny Malik was also present to demonstrate the Asset Management integration now available. PRD will be at the HDI Showcase on the Gold Coast later this month to do it all again.
Sydney and Canberra InfoSessions

We are pleased to advise that InfoSessions are tentatively scheduled for Sydney on 8th November and Canberra on 6th December 2004.
The sessions focus on the latest Enterprise Edition of HelpMaster Pro and provide an opportunity to network with other users in the local area.
Representatives of PRD Software and Protocol1 will be present to answer your questions and receive your feedback.
Invitations will be sent out but, you can register your interest now by sending us an email. More details will be posted as they are confirmed.
New addition to the HelpMaster Pro family

With the release of HelpMaster Pro Enterprise Edition v7 comes a new addition to the software suite with the arrival
of the HelpMaster Pro Job Monitor! The Job Monitor is a useful tool to monitor your job queue, even when you are not
logged into HelpMaster Pro.
The Job Monitor is a useful application that quietly monitors your job queue within HelpMaster Pro, even when you are
not logged into HelpMaster Pro. When any change in the number of jobs assigned to your personal job queue occurs, the
Job Monitor will sound an audible alert, as well as displaying a small notice in the lower right corner of your
screen. The Job Monitor will also alert you when a reminder goes off, or when a job is assigned to the skillgroup

New Distributor

We are pleased to welcome DesignR1 as our newest distributor. DesignR1 will be working in the USA and European
markets, distributing HelpMaster Pro through a number of resellers. Contact will be made with our clients in those
areas soon to help with the latest version.
HelpMaster Pro InfoSessions!

We are pleased to announce a parnership with Queensland company, Protocol1, to provide information sessions and
training services. The first InfoSession was held in Brisbane and was a great success. The next session is scheduled for Melbourne on
15th September 2004. If you are from that area and would like to attend, let us know and we will make sure an
invitation is sent. Refreshments are provided and you can see the new V7 release, as well as discuss training and other issues.
It's also a great opportunity to give feedback to the PRD development team. We look forward to seeing you there.
Seven Versions in Seven Years!

PRD Software is proud to announce the release of the newest generation of the HelpMaster Pro business productivity
suite - Version 7 Enterprise Edition. This version is packed with exciting new features along with an enhanced user
interface. This release is currently available for BETA testing and all who would like to try it are welcome. Please keep your eyes on our site for more
announcements as more information on the final product release becomes available.
HDI Showcase 2004

We have been busy here at PRD making changes to the Website and the way we serve or customers.
Behind the scenes, hosting has now been reconfigured to use both Australian and United States ISP's.
This will mean better service, reliability and efficiency. Up front, we have made some exciting changes too.

ongoing commitment to provide better Technical Support, the latest help files will now be available for
viewing online and for download through our client downloads pages. At the same time, we have also upgraded
